"A grandma is just an antique little girl"...unknown
Can you imagine sewing these quilts yourself? I wish I had the talent and especially the patience do something like this!
Loved the chicken in various activities the best. The drunk one leaning against the pole cracked me up.Wish I had nimble fingers to do such work.
Must have chicken quilts, must have chicken quilts, must have chicken quilts......... I am in a trance.
I can do some simple quilting, but going to a show like this is really quite daunting.
I love them all! It's such an engaging pastime. Thanks for sharing.
All 3 of those chicken quilts are great -- and very silly! I love it and very different from the usual quilts that are patterned after our grandparents (and theirs) quilts. Thanks for sharing these!
I so appreciate the time and work that goes into making these quilts.
They are all very unusual and different. What a great find and you walked away without a purchase.
Well, not quite. I did buy material to make my own projects.
Your quilt looks wonderful. All color combinations are fine.
I loved these pictures! You are right, they are happy quilts!
I am impressed. It looks like a fun show.
They made me smile too. Very pretty!
Lovely quilts. I admire those who quilt.
I love that second one. YES, these made me happy looking at them just in photos; I can imagine the smiles of those seeing them in person.
I have a friend, a graphic artist, who designs and sews fabulous quilts. It's such an art form. These vivid colors do make me happy.
