A New Time in Egypt

Egypt's Mubarak has resigned .  Now we wait to see what will happen next. "Egyptians have inspired us, and they've done so by putting the lie to the idea that justice is best gained by violence," Obama said. "For Egypt, it was the moral force of nonviolence, not terrorism, not mindless killing, but nonviolence, moral force, that bent the arc of history toward justice once more." Let's hope that what follows this arc of justice and moral force will continue to be without violence to the world. And what about the very powerful role technology has played in bringing about this revolution? The seemingly unmovable president was finally toppled by an uprising that grew from small groups of young activists organizing on the Internet.
