Can you imagine sewing these quilts yourself? I wish I had the talent and especially the patience do something like this!
ReplyDeleteI can do some simple quilting, but going to a show like this is really quite daunting.
DeleteLoved the chicken in various activities the best. The drunk one leaning against the pole cracked me up.
ReplyDeleteWish I had nimble fingers to do such work.
Must have chicken quilts, must have chicken quilts, must have chicken quilts......... I am in a trance.
ReplyDeleteI love them all! It's such an engaging pastime. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteAll 3 of those chicken quilts are great -- and very silly! I love it and very different from the usual quilts that are patterned after our grandparents (and theirs) quilts. Thanks for sharing these!
ReplyDeleteI so appreciate the time and work that goes into making these quilts.

ReplyDeleteWell, not quite. I did buy material to make my own projects.
DeleteYour quilt looks wonderful. All color combinations are fine.
ReplyDeleteI loved these pictures! You are right, they are happy quilts!

ReplyDeleteI love that second one. YES, these made me happy looking at them just in photos; I can imagine the smiles of those seeing them in person.
ReplyDeleteI have a friend, a graphic artist, who designs and sews fabulous quilts. It's such an art form. These vivid colors do make me happy.
