My grand son has completed his first week of school. This is the picture as he headed out on the first day of all-day kindergarten.
I understand that he has returned each day completely exhausted. Well, he is still a baby!! Okay, he would hate to hear me say that. He is a big boy now, but, good grief, they grow up so fast.
My grand daughter has started sixth grade. Honestly, it seems like last year that she was startling kindergarten.
I stole these pictured from Facebook. They are just too cute not to share.
They sure do grow up fast. Such cute kids! I hope they have a wonderful school year.
ReplyDeleteLovely kids, and I like the cat. When of the ironies of getting older it that moments become shorter. A year in the life of your grandchild becomes a flash.
ReplyDeleteThose pics are adorable. They look happy, and that is a good sign.
ReplyDeleteYour Grandson and mine are the same age - my Caden started K-garten this year, too. He loves it and cried when his Mom had to get him early last week for a DR appointment. What a cute photo of your Granddaughter and the kitty!
ReplyDeleteVery cute kids. I hope they have a great school year. I don't know why they have to grow up so fast.
ReplyDeleteI think Facebook is a boon for us grammas, not just the kids! That's how I keep up, too!
ReplyDeleteCheers from Cottage Country!
I too have stolen pics off Facebook (actually that's probably the only thing I do with Facebook.)
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are adorable. Now I want to show my grandson's first day school pic too (maybe on my blog later)!
So cute! Yes, they do grow up so fast. Education is a wonderful thing, but by age five, kids will now never just be free to be. There will now be school and more school, and then jobs. It's kind of bitter sweet.
ReplyDeleteYou're right -- those pictures are to cute not to snag! Love the one of your granddaughter and the cat!
ReplyDeleteOlga, my grandson, Miles, started kindergarten this year too. I was talking to his mother, my daughter, and I commented on what a long day it was. My daughter answered with, "Yeah, isn't it great?"
ReplyDeleteYou are right! Kids grow up way too fast, but I remember wanting to grow up when I was a kid! I just wish the years would slow down!
