Someone recommended a Netflix show to me the other day. From her description I had the notion that it was a documentary. Last night Don was out for the evening so I decided to check it out. Good grief! It turned out to be this inane reality show which caused me to lose all faith the progress of the human condition. I gave it ten minutes -- which was really generous with my time.
If you are curious here is the link to the trailer, but I warn you, you will regret letting it into your brain.
Instead, I found the movie Persuasion based on a Jane Austin novel with some amusing touches. Perfect solo girl viewing, in my opinion. Oddly enough there were characters with similar senses of entitlement to those in the Snowflake show -- but ever so much more enjoyable.
I've seen previews for that first show. I would never watch entitled brats. It would have be being a lunatic yelling at my TV. I watch a lot of doc which my spouse hates. Lucky for me having severe sleep issues, I watch 'girl' tv when he goes to bed😆
ReplyDeleteThank you for the warning. I had to laugh at the description....kidults. Seriously? Who comes up with this stuff?
ReplyDeleteYikes, watched the trailer--well part of it and am so glad I don't have Netflix. If they represented our youth, Lord help us. Luckily Callie doesn't care what I watch as long as there are no barking dogs or sirens (they hurt her ears) so I am good:)
ReplyDeleteI have "Persuasion" on my list. I really dislike "reality" shows.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the warning. My time is limited so I don't waste time on inane shows.
ReplyDeleteYou and Don can watch A CALL TO SPY on Netflix. It's a WWII British show about the true tale of women spy's.
ReplyDeleteAppreciate your alert so won't waste my time.
