I will be on the road for the next three days. I am armed with masks, disposable gloves, a bottle of disinfectant and a roll of paper towels!
Good news!! I did get to see two of the butterflies work their way out and eventually take wing. That made me happy.
Congratulations on the birth of your butterfly babies! Safe travels.
ReplyDeleteGood luck ... and please tells us what it was like. Traffic heavy or light? Hotels crowded or empty? People being nice, or testy? Everyone wearing masks?
ReplyDeletemDay one and traffic was moving along nicely. Lots . of trucks and RV's and heavily packed SUV's heading north but I have certainly seen much, much worse. I did see a state trooper in SC actually changing a tire for a woman on the highway. I stopped once in northern FL where not one other person was wearing a mask -- a state with a 1000 new cases a day lately.
DeleteI stopped again just after getting into SC and there were lots of masks. I am staying in a nice Wyndham Hotel -- five floors and maybe a dozen cars in the parking lot.
Know you have not been excited about making this trip. Hope it goes smoothly and trouble free. Take care and stay safe.
ReplyDeleteSafe Travels.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Have a safe trip.
ReplyDeleteThanks. It is a long drive, but I have done it before and I can take my time.
DeleteI'm a little late, but I'm wishing you safe travels. Take care and stay well!
ReplyDeleteFigures in some areas people do not care about masks. Interesting that you find places to stop along the way. I guess lockdown is not so strict along your route. Be safe.
ReplyDeleteI admire your independence so much as well as your bravery. I know you’re going to be careful. I hope everything will go smoothly and event free.
