It is a rumbly, rainy morning here in Florida this morning. The weather report says two day of this. Damn! I will be stuck inside by myself for two days. Whatever will I do with myself?
Seriously. How can these weather people get away with obstructing my right to go out wherever and whenever I want? So unfair.
And my cable box went kaput yesterday. All the remote fixes were to no avail so a tech can come to fix it . . . someday . . . but not someday soon.
Well, I am out of fabric and I am mostly out of yarn, but I do have other crafty things to do.
I have been making cards. Lots of family and friends with May birthdays!
I have to give most of them away, then I don't have to put them in the trash myself. I get on a roll and make far more cards than I will ever need.
I have been doing some painting practice.

When I get sick of that I tear the paintings into pieces and make a collage.
Isolation fun.
You talent is gorgeous Olga! (wench!)
ReplyDeleteSorry you are trapped inside even more than usual but don't you all need rain? Are any of the fires near you or is that farther south?
ReplyDeleteYou do have a cache of cards but you are ready for any occasion. That has to feel good.
This area hasn't had the forest fires but the rain did knock down the lovebugs so that's a good thing.
DeleteI like those beautiful cards. Stick a $20 bill inside one of them and send it to your grandson.
ReplyDeleteI have never made cards... although I do appreciate them (and yours are lovely) as I love to buy pretty cards at card shops. If I run out of things to do (hasn't happened yet), I may start practicing my watercolor... haven't done that in ages.
ReplyDeleteOn paper my life doesn't look all that different but I have to feel for those who are far more painfully impacted.
DeleteYour craft work is true art. Thank you for showing us your beautiful creations.
ReplyDeleteI hope cable help comes soon!
Lovely pieces. My hubby wrote out a few cards for friends, and he's mailing them today!
ReplyDeleteGood gracious! You are so talented, Olga. Your cards are gorgeous. I’m starting to get stir crazy these days. I’ve finished sorting through my file cabinet and I finished masking masks. But with not a whole lot to do, I think I’ll cut up another aloha shirt and make more masks.
ReplyDeleteNice cards! I love handmade cards! :-)
ReplyDeleteSince you make more cards than you need, have you considered donating some to your favourite thrift store to sell? We have a few that sell some handmade (new) donated items in addition to their upscale resale items.
I wandered over from The Travelers Wife's blog for the first time today. Hope you don't mind if I visit again in the future. I'm usually fairly quiet and reasonably well behaved. ;-)
