Smugglers' Notch

Dane and I went to Smugglers' Notch last Sunday to climb on rocks.

The start of the climb

Caves along the way

where smugglers supposedly hid goods from Canada

We went quite high:

By the end of running around on rocks Dane was tired.

Grandma, of course, was still going strong. Hahaha.

  1. Well, good for you, Grandma. Rock scrambling sounds like a real challenge, one I couldn't take on.

  2. Well done Grandma! I was thinking it wouldn't be something I would try...being a klutz I'd be certain to twist an ankle. The memories you're making with Dane are marvelous.

  3. That looks like a fascinating place to explore! What a great place to share with your grandson.

  4. He is such a good sport. Love your grandson!

  5. What could be more fun to explore than a place with the exotic name of Smuggler's Notch. You really are the cool grandma.

  6. Woo. That was an adventure. Not sure I could have kept up but good for you.
