I am going to a Halloween party.
I am going to wear a white shirt and white pants and go as a snow flake.
So I was at Michael's yesterday and I bought glittery plastic snow flakes to decorate the outfit and make it clearer as to what I am meant to represent.
It did make me wonder why the US price is 3.99 and the Can price is 5.99. They were made in China. Is it some kind of indication of the gross unfairness of NAFTA?
Anyway . . . It was incredibly easy to find snowflakes as all the Christmas decoration are on full display.

II hope the party has a safe place for snowflakes.
ReplyDeleteThat is funny.
DeleteHave fun as a snow flake.
ReplyDeleteOkay we are going to need pictures of our little snowflake. :-)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!!
You have stumbled onto a trade mystery. You need to research. Maybe there is a journalism student interested? I would love a photo of you in costume. I cannot remember the last time I dressed up in costume...wait, maybe when I was teaching decades ago.
ReplyDeleteGreat Idea.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very funny costume choice, at least from an adult point of view. Kids would just think you are cold and pretty.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great pricing question.
The mystery of price fifference is in part explained by our dollar value which is $.80 to you $1.00. Still that does not explain the total difference. And the differences are in effect regardless of the country that made a product.
ReplyDeleteIt is amusing to me that you who leaves snow behind in winter has chosen to dress up as snow. Suoer cool!
I want to see a picture of the snowflake!
