Well, I am "home." I have spent a week looking for my stuff. I accused my son of hiding everything on me, but I do know that I just had to relearn where I put things. I only spent six weeks in the new condo before leaving for the winter--which, yes, really does extend into May here in VT sometimes.
I went outside without my winter jacket for the first time today.
I worked on some May birthday cards:
like cherry blossoms.
And I cannot believe that my calendar jottings are going into June already!
Your life is rich and full and I think you should post how your meet and greet or get involved or adjust to changes in states!
ReplyDeleteI realize you have family ties in Vermont that will no doubt keep you spending time there. I would like to know, if that were not the case, would you prefer living in Florida year round?
ReplyDeleteWelcome "home". I bet the difference in temperature must be a bit of a challenge.
ReplyDeleteThe watercolor is lovely!
Your card making materials must live in Vermont. That's a good project for doing indoors until the weather warms up.
ReplyDeleteYou have had a lot of changes in the last two years. I hope you are feeling content to be "home".
Most live in VT but I have plenty of art and craft supplies in FL too.
DeleteCould that be a flowering almond?
ReplyDeleteI looked flowering almond up on line and it certainly looks like you nailed it! Thanks.
DeleteI've been in this house 3 or 4 years now. Sometimes I still wake up and wonder where I am. I'll bet you get some of that.
ReplyDeleteI know, it's almost June. Doesn't feel that way. Time does speed up, doesn't it!
ReplyDeleteYou do make the prettiest cards. I'm sure your family and friends find them to be keepers.
ReplyDeleteMy brother in Ohio said they had snow this week after returning from Fl and I'm sure Vt was colder. That has to be a shock on the body. Have fun readjusting to Vt.
Welcome home, Olga. May you transition quickly from Florida to Vermont!
ReplyDeleteYou crafty soul, you!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back to Vermont! I love your cards. You are so talented. It really is amazing that it's already going to be June. My daughter and family will be coming to Hawaii soon to spend a month with us.
ReplyDeleteYour cards are always so beautiful! What a wonderful gift for anyone. Glad you are getting settled!
