I have been taking a very basic drawing class. We drew a lot of cubes and spheres to learn about perspective and shading. Last week we branched out and drew a wine bottle. Unfortunately, we did not get to drink the wine first.
For practice I drew the statue of a rabbit I have in the yard. I got tired with the work of all the shading at some point and just stopped.
What I really want to draw is flowers.

Now you're into something I've always wanted to do. Unfortunately I now suffer from essential tremors that would make drawing difficult. I've always wanted to draw a picture of my grandparents' home as I remember it. There are no photos of it that I know of.
ReplyDeleteTook a drawing class years and years ago and wonder if I remember anything!!
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I have no talent but I sure like to look at others.
ReplyDeleteThat is something I keep meaning to do. Where does time go? How about putting your rabbit among the flowers.
ReplyDeleteRabbits are nice, but flowers are better.
ReplyDeleteYou are so creative! I admire your talent very much. The best I can manage is to using pencils to color pages in my coloring book.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
Well, I would want to draw flowers too. But I'm better at growing them and arranging them. No talent for drawing. I can barely manage Pictionary. You, on the other hand, are doing well.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! You are so talented and must be getting good remarks from your instructor.
ReplyDeleteDrawing is just not my thing but I sure admire you for trying it. Don't blame you for wanting to get on to the flowers!
ReplyDeleteOh my, Olga! You are really talented. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteThe red poppy flower has my full attention. I see why you prefer flowers.
