I get no kind of compensation for discussing these products. I just like them.
I bought this bamboo hair brush at Richard's Whole Foods here in Florida. I really like it a lot. I can even use it on wet hair without snarling or pulling. I plan to buy another one to take back to Vermont.
I went to a service auction recently. Money was being raised for both the Wounded Warriors project and for EARS, a no-kill animal rescue and shelter in a nearby town. I bid on a massage. The certificate came in a gift bag with these products--a body cream, peppermint foot cream, and lip balms. I will definitely be saving the lemongrass body cream for times when outdoor activities might require insect repellent, which is what lemongrass smells like to me.
What I really like about these products, though--they come in completely biodegradable, compostable containers.
I've grown lemongrass in pots on my porch to keep the mosquitoes away. Didn't stop them completely but we don't know how much worse it might have been without the plants. I'll be curious to know if it make a difference. I know you get bugs in Florida too so gives us an update when you try it out.
ReplyDeleteYour natural, renewable and biodegradable products certainly fit in with your priorities.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you in helping our environment by looking for biodegradable products. I'm so glad Hawaii is finally banning most grocery store, etc. plastic bags. I carry reusable bags with me whenever I go shopping. Your bamboo brush makes me almost wish I had longer hair. I'll tell my daughter about it. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI love finding neat stuff like this. Thank you so much for your kind comments on my blog.
ReplyDeleteThese products sound good, especially the hair brush.
ReplyDeleteEvery family needs a garbage police person. We call them dumpster divers.
ReplyDeleteBamboo is really an amazing material. The biodegradable container are a great idea as well.
ReplyDeleteLucky you getting a massage. That is pure pleasure. Wish I had known about lemongrass when I lived in Fl. We don't have mosquitoes in the Ozarks so I will pass.
ReplyDeleteHave you felt bamboo material? Someday I am getting a blouse made from ti
It is so silky.
I like the look of that brush. That's excellent that your products are so 'green!'
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of such a brush so I had to go Google it. Amara has the worst time combing out her hair- especially if it is wet. I will have to order her one of those. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWhat interesting products; I love the idea of lemongrass body lotion. Enjoy your massage!
ReplyDeleteMy vision is so bad and I thought that one cream said "Whipped Poot Butter". LOL
ReplyDeleteHow brilliant? Bamboo brushes.
ReplyDeleteI've heard of Wounded Warriors. A great idea.
