Okay, Linda Reeder . Okay, Arkansas Patti . Yours is NOT a club I wanted to join. But I did anyway. Bike meets car; face meets pavement. Olga meets EMTs, gets ride to ER, meets nurses, doctors and X-ray technicians, and friendly police officer who issues a citation for negligent bike riding. Not pretty. So very not pretty. Are you ready for this? Yes. I was wearing my helmet. Plenty of bruises and swellings, but no broken bones, no concussion. I will take it easy for the next few days, but first order of business is to go out and purchase purple eye shadow.
I think your house would look great with one of flying monkeys on its roof. Cool idea.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, no one would even bat an eyelash around here if I put a flying monkey on my roof.
DeleteI do love container plantings.
ReplyDeleteThat was quite a convoluted explanation of the monkeys. I think we need them here in Seattle, officially The Emerald City.
There you go! Write to your mayor. I am sure there are artists willing to take on the project.
DeleteLoved the story of the town's guardian Flying Monkeys. I shared it on my Facebook page.
ReplyDeleteI loved the Monkeys story too! What a legend!
ReplyDeleteI used to like hanging plants and container gardens, but because of the hurricanes I am having second thoughts. Don't want those pots turning into dangerous projectiles.
ReplyDeleteLoved the story! The flowers are lovely. Container gardens are hard to maintain in Oklahoma because of the excessive heat. They just seem to whither and die too fast.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful colors -- the window box is gorgeous, too! Bet that is a lot easier to care for and you can always take it with you wherever you go!
ReplyDeleteI have never given window boxes much thought but may change that. I really like this one and the one in your last post.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting. Love the flower box.
