I am generally a neat person, but they are getting the better of me on that front.
Lucky for me I had the foresight to select sand colored carpets, floors, and counters.
And the cave:
because who wants to be out in the Florida sunshine until mid afternoon? It is simply too hot, let's face it.
Very smart choice of colors. Enjoy your visit!
ReplyDeleteVery clever, all around.
ReplyDeleteOur hose gets a workout every summer. I think the kids have just as much fun with the hose, getting all the sand off, as they do working hard all day getting the sand all over themselves!
ReplyDeleteSand colored carpets and a super sucking vacuum. Tools all Floridians employ. That part I don't miss.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have balance. You can always clean when they leave because you will miss them and need to fill the time. Unless you are leaving with them, then you should hire a cleaning service.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I know all about sand on carpets and bathroom tile. Lol.

ReplyDeleteI never understood shore people who got upset over sand in the house. Glad to see you take it in stride!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you are going with the flow. Enjoy your time together.
ReplyDeleteIts is part of the zen! Enjoy a little, clean up a lot. On your last day, you will have to become Sergeant Olga, and have them spit shine the house.
ReplyDeleteThe really cool thing about grandchildren is that they are usually returnable.
Amen to that!
DeleteWe're going nuts with the deer flies right now. The heat doesn't bother me!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you are all too busy having fun to be neat. That's what vacations are for. I agree Sextant. Cleaning day happens on the last day.
ReplyDeleteYep! I found sand in something the other day and we haven't been to the beach in over a month!
ReplyDeleteI see that they are very much at home in your place.
