It was even cold, cold in Florida today.
Still, after the nice hot soup for supper last night, I had fresh Plant City strawberries for breakfast this morning.

That's yogurt, by the way--not whipped cream.
I got a big surprise when I returned from yoga class this afternoon--a big bouquet from my daughter and two grandchildren waiting on the doorstep.
Aren't they gorgeous.
They made me happy.
I put one stem at the kitchen window.
Kudos to you for raising such a thoughtful daughter. Enjoy those beautiful flowers!!!
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are gorgeous flowers, and gorgeous strawberries, but not as beautiul as your daughter and grandchildren.
ReplyDeleteI bet it was their warm hearts that kept the flowers from freezing on your porch this afternoon!
ReplyDeleteWow! That's a whole lot of gorgeous orchids! I hope it warms up everywhere. This cold is crazy.
ReplyDeleteI love flower surprises from loved ones. It is the best pick-me-up...next to strawberries for breakfast.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous flowers! They always seem to brighten even the dark, cold days. Hope it warms up for you!
ReplyDeleteOh, flowers always cheer me up, too. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers! Hope you days are always filled with beautiful surprises!
ReplyDeleteAw, how sweet of your daughter. A great way to brighten a cold day.
ReplyDeleteOh, so beautiful! Are those orchids!? I can't imagine a bouquet of orchids!
ReplyDeleteThey are orchids...I could not believe it either.
DeleteThe flowers are gorgeous, how sweet of your daughter! BTW, I love the title of the post and soooo agree with you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a thoughtful daughter! I bet they really cheered you up. I've been gone too long from blogging. Glad to hear you are back in Florida.
ReplyDeleteYes! I have missed you.
DeleteThose orchids are just spectacular! What a nice thing to come home to! The Arctic vortex has impacted us, too. I shouldn't complain about only 63 today but yet I do.
ReplyDeleteYour inside sure looks cozy with those vivid orchids! I talked with my s-i-l from Sarasota yesterday - she was complaining about the cold. Hope the citrus crop wasn't affected.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! "Cold?"
