As soon as I walked out my front door I noticed that all the tickling of the dirt has started to pay off.
The astible popped right up over night.
Forsythia is blooming and the pussy willows have gone by.
A magnolia in bloom in Jericho, Vermont. What more proof of global warming does one need??

There are definitely good signs that spring is here.

What a beautiful day for a walk.
I'd like that walk. Although spring has been slow in some parts of the country it seems pretty normal here in the Pacific Northwest.
ReplyDeleteIt is a hilly walk...always takes me a few weeks to readjust after a winter in Florida.
DeleteLucky you enjoying a sunny spring day!! You photos of the spring flowers make me jealous!! We're still freezing here in Wis! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I saw your ice covering this morning. It could still happen here, but I am hoping that we will be lucky this year.
DeleteYour a tad bit behind us NJers. I love looking at all the beauty surrounding us in spring.
ReplyDeletePeace,
Muff
Spring is a beautiful time of year.
DeleteOh my! This is all so very gorgeous!!! Yes! You do have spring. However, I'm hearing about SNOW happening in the Midwest. Could that be? In May? I'm wishing warm weather for you so those flowers can be happy.
ReplyDeleteIt is not unheard of to have snow in May here. I remember a Memorial Day weekend when we headed out on a camping trip and it was snowing for a bit.
DeleteWhat glorious signs of Spring. It really does put a spring in ones step, even if it is up hill.
ReplyDeleteOur buds and blooms took a beating last night. Snow in N/W Arkansas and really cold here. Hope the plants are OK.
And the funny thing is that it is uphill both ways!
DeleteNice photos! Hope you find more flowers on your next trip outdoors.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful walk -- thank you for sharing it! Love all the flowers.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a wonderful spring walk! Thank you for sharing the photos, it makes me hopeful we'll soon be seeing more signs of spring. No magnolia here though!
