April is Poetry Month

Fire and Ice

  by Robert Frost
Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To know that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

  1. I think Mr. Frost was having some fun in this one.

  2. I remember reading this in high school and it still resonates with me now. I don't know why... it just does.

I appreciate readers' comments so much. You don't even always have to agree with me.
