Oh, dear.
My grand son drew this picture while he was here last week:
Clearly, it is the tick I tweezed off his little chest.
And I totally recognize the dots as bacteria from his favored book, The Gas We Pass: The Story of Farts.
Also, we had a conversation a couple of times about the feelers/antennae on bugs.
I am worried that this is a sign of trauma to his sensitive nature.

Or its just a little boy drawing bugs. Here's a cute tip that my daughter does with her day care kids. When they draw something neat, she traces it on material and embroiders the picture on the cloth, makes the edges cute and makes a little hanging pillow.
ReplyDeleteI would say that he really is able to express himself with his art. Who know all that is going through that head, but at least he has an outlet with his artwork.
ReplyDeleteOr maybe he is a budding scientist. Look on the bright side.
ReplyDeleteWell, sure . . . it could be any one of those innocent little things already suggested...
ReplyDeleteOr...
It could be that he's foretelling his own BLOOD POISONING from the TICK!
LOOK AT THOSE RADIATING LINES!!!!
Just kidding.
Hmmm, looks like something from outer space to me. But, seriously, watch out for those ticks. They are nasty little things. I've had Lyme Disease three times -- it's no prob. if you catch it right away, but no fun if you don't.
ReplyDeleteNice drawing. He captured its uglyness.
ReplyDeleteWhere was that book when I was a youngun.
Maybe it's just a sun. Maybe?
ReplyDeleteI think he is going to be a very artist scientist! Don't panic Grandma!
ReplyDeleteI like it! It's a good drawing and we all got to have fun with it thanks to you :)
ReplyDeleteI think it best gramma fixed it! Mine love going out with gramma into the woods!
ReplyDeletePretty awesome tick...or sun...or alien. Probably just having fun figuring out his artistic abilities. Whatever it may be, it's cute and worthy of a spot on the fridge! :)
