Life in VT

Well, I am "home."  I have spent a week looking for my stuff.  I accused my son of hiding everything on me, but I do know that I just had to relearn where I put things.  I only spent six weeks in the new condo before leaving for the winter--which, yes, really does extend into May here in VT sometimes.

I went outside without my winter jacket for the first time today.

I worked on some May birthday cards:
Watercolor by moi.

Punch and die

In spite of the fact that I have been shivering for a week, it does look like spring around here.  The crab apple trees are lovely.

I am not sure what this is but the blooms are pretty,
like cherry blossoms.

I was missing my herb garden so I bought a planter for the deck and filled it.

And I cannot believe that my calendar jottings are going into June already!

  1. Your life is rich and full and I think you should post how your meet and greet or get involved or adjust to changes in states!

  2. I realize you have family ties in Vermont that will no doubt keep you spending time there. I would like to know, if that were not the case, would you prefer living in Florida year round?

  3. Welcome "home". I bet the difference in temperature must be a bit of a challenge.

    The watercolor is lovely!

  4. Your card making materials must live in Vermont. That's a good project for doing indoors until the weather warms up.
You have had a lot of changes in the last two years. I hope you are feeling content to be "home".

  6. I've been in this house 3 or 4 years now. Sometimes I still wake up and wonder where I am. I'll bet you get some of that.

  7. I know, it's almost June. Doesn't feel that way. Time does speed up, doesn't it!

  8. You do make the prettiest cards. I'm sure your family and friends find them to be keepers.
My brother in Ohio said they had snow this week after returning from Fl and I'm sure Vt was colder. That has to be a shock on the body. Have fun readjusting to Vt.

  10. Welcome back to Vermont! I love your cards. You are so talented. It really is amazing that it's already going to be June. My daughter and family will be coming to Hawaii soon to spend a month with us.
