Lotus Flower

Rising out of the murk and mud of a  brownish pond, the lotus flower is a symbol of purity and beauty.

My origami lotus flower doesn't quite live up to the symbolism.

I like it anyway.

I like it too! Your artistic talents so far exceed my own, I'm envious.

I've never done origami. It looks so intricate. Did you follow on on-line pattern?

Neat. I love it.

Lovely. And it doesn't need water.

Very nice. I have never tried origami. You are really developing quite an artistic flare.

I do, although "following" most origami instruction, online or otherwise, can be a complete study in frustration. I definitely takes patient practice and a bit of stubborn determination.

You just keep surprising us with your talents. Never tried origami but may have to now. Well done.

I can do a killer glider and a dart, but flowers are too difficult. Looks good though!

I've never tried to do a lotus flower. I think yours looks beautiful. Now I'm curious about how to do it. I shall have to try it next time I have some time.
