Wired

Okay, I am not saying that this was in any way an easy thing, but I have started up the the wireless router supplied by Comcast for a modest rental fee and I have gotten it to talk to my computer, my printer, and with the TV to play Netflix.
So I am pretty darned proud of myself.

My Christmas Day was pleasant.  I went to my neighbors for dinner--good food, good company, all good.  Perhaps a smidge too much good wine, but all good.

I went to a ninety minute hot yoga class today to redeem myself.

  1. Well, I'm impressed by the router business, and by the hot yoga for 90 minutes. It's great to hear you had a good Christmas. Best to you in the coming year.

  3. Good job on the router. Its great you had a lovely day with your friends. Too much wine won't hurt once in a while.

  4. Oh my word! You set up all that by yourself? I am overwhelmingly impressed!
Hot yoga...? I am unfamiliar, although I expect that any yoga would overheat me.

  5. I have Comcast and a wireless, but it cannot access Netflix without going through another device such as a digital phone, computer or other thing that has access to the Internet and not just Cable TV. Does Comcast now have such a device?

  8. I'm impressed. I tried to install a router and finally gave up. Maybe I will try again.
Glad you have a wonderful time and it never hurts to have a plan to recoup after all the indulgences.

  9. Good job on the router! Computers are never easy. I somehow managed to start a NEW Amazon Prime account while trying to log into it on our new TV. It was definitely user error so my hat is off to you! (Amazon was wonderful about fixing it!)
