Wednesday

We took a walk along the river

and found some watery wildflowers.

Then our final afternoon in Florida was spent at Manasota Beach.  Siesta Key is supposed to be the famous beach, but this is my favorite.
The sand is not a soft, but the water is every bit as clear.  It is more accessible besides.

The two kids were getting along, bobbing in the water together, laughing and having fun.  Time to go home.

We hit the road tomorrow.

  3. It's been a while since I've been to the beach. November 2012 we went snorkeling, but since then, nothing.

  8. Love the photos. It always amazed me how different the coastline and waves look. Glad everyone had such a good time and that by now you are home and able to actually relax and enjoy that glass of wine. YOU have certainly earned it!
