Secret Message?

Does any one see anything written on my bath towel?

Or Am just flying off the deep end?  Seriously, does anyone else see it?

  1. Hold your nose, you're going off the deep end. lol

  2. It looks like a word written on an upward angle from left to right. First letter 'S', next is an 'a' or 'o', the third may be an 'l' or 'd', and there's an 'e.' Then in the top right it looks like 'Ke.' So can we go off the deep end together?

  3. I suggest hot tea, a cold damp cloth on your forehead, and a nap. But first, please tell us what you see??

  4. Is this a little belated Halloween trick on us, or maybe a Rohrshach (sp?) type test? Actually I think I am seeing letters. S E E k are the letters that I think I may be seeing. Now this is getting weirder, I think I am seeing an F above the S. Well, so far, you, I, and one other commenter are on our way off the deep end. I'm getting ready to dog paddle my way back into the shallow end. I don't know if I am ready for a bath towel oracle yet. Please update us as to what letters you see there!

  5. We are definitely crazy. I immediately saw an "m" in the light right part and across and down, another "m" plus vertically "Muggy" - I think my brain is just conjuring "m's!" Rewash the towel - quick!

  6. Think it is time for some tea, then a nap. I tried and tried but got nothing besides that M.

  8. Sorry Olga, but I see nothing. I do think it looks a bit like a heart. I am tired, so don't take my word for it. I'm sure I can't be trusted to see much tonight.

  11. I've come back again to see what I might see and I DO think I see "peek"----please tell us what you see!

  12. You are not flying off the deep end unless you hear your bath towel. Sorry, but my imagination or the angle of the light is not cooperating.

  13. Sigh. I tried but can't see it. Will you tell us what you see?

  14. I got nothin'.
I wish I could see something. What is it?

  15. OK, trying again... can 'almost' see a face in the lower right portion. And if I look long enough... my imagination will probably find other things.

  16. Up close I thought I saw RE8k... but from 4 feet away I definitely saw seek tilted about 30 degrees of the horizontal. Having seen it from a distance I can now see up close. I find that rather interesting. The first e is squared off like this E the second e is rounded like the left half of an 8, and the K is rotated to almost normal.

However if I look real hard I can see an f07ge in a smaller font in between the letters of seek near the top of the letters. I think I am going mad...

  17. I see something but it is difficult to make out. Depending on the angle I see a B or a P and then a letter I can't make out, then an curlicue E or possibly 8 and then another letter. What do you see?

  18. I've got nothing! Don't think it means your going off the deep end -- possibly means I need to clean my glasses/monitor!

  19. I see a little person - almost like an elf - right in the middle of the image.

  20. Well, I saw the word SEek. I was trying to figure out how to highlight it, but I just don't have the skills. I see the heart and the letter B, but only in retrospect. Seek jumped out at me. Maybe too much halloween fun?

  22. I definitely see a little cat's face. Anyone else? Right in the middle of the orangey part.

  23. I'm willing to give you the S and even E and e, but I'm just not seeing the K.

Updates

On September 29, I had the closing on my condo. Everything that was not going to the buyers was out and packed in the ABF moving truck which had by the been taken over to the storage units. Don thought it would take him until Wednesday to finish packing the truck with the help of his son. It took him until late Thursday with Chris' help and mine. Kevin was supposed to help load as well but he was in a mountain bike accident and wrecked his shoulder the week before. That added driving him to doctor appointments to my to do list and dong some shopping for him plus jobs around the house that might need two functioning upper limbs.  We stayed with Kevin on Friday night after the closing and then had a suite in an extended stay place for the coming week. This was the worst possible time to have to get a room because the prices balloon during leaf peeping season if you can even find a room at all. But it was close to the storage units where we were working and it was dog friendly. We ju

Wedding

Don and I drove to South Carolina to attend the wedding of my step-grandson, Will. Will Will and Katie The wedding took place on Dataw Island, a beautiful outdoor ceremony followed by a reception in the country club. We stayed in a tiny cottage in the historic center of Beaufort, rented from Vrbo. Since the wedding was at 5 p.m., we had time to explore the area a bit. I really like the low country scenery and historical charm. Sitting quietly in the curtained gazebo I was visited by multiple cardinals. They came to visit the feeder, not me, but I can always pretend! How I will always remember Will!

Rest In Peace

In a summer that has been so wet, Sunday was a reprieve. The humidity dropped and the sun came out. It was a day that could have been special ordered by the family of a friend's husband. It was the day they had arranged his celebration of life ceremony set on the shore of Lake Champlain. I was not looking forward to the gathering, even couched as a celebration. This is a family fraught with relationship tensions. It turned out to be a beautiful day and a beautiful ceremony. A Catholic priest gave a brief but meaningful homily and two Air Force members played "Taps" and presented the American flag to my friend. I am not a Christian, but I do know about Christ Consciousness. That priest's word's filled me with such a sense of peace and love. I hope it did the same for the family members and neighbors who attended.
